Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, Makati is our non-negotiable Church. M's mom's family all had their weddings in that Church. I didn't know that.
Choosing the Church
In the first couple of weeks in our planning, I was actually looking at Churches in Greenhills and in Quezon City because there are better options for reception venues in those areas.
When I suggested Santuario de San Jose + Philippine Stock Exchange for Church and reception it was welcomed with the sweetest "No". That was funny because my parents and I stayed up late trying to figure out which places would suit guests better. And since we're not from Metro Manila, we didn't have any Church preference like M's family.
When M explained that his mom explained that Santuario de San Antonio was mandatory. I was actually happy about it. We'd be marrying in the Church we (almost) always hear mass in, so it felt right and I knew that in the future, after we get married, going back there every week will make us happy. On top of that, his family will be happy about it. So all the better!

They do not accept phone inquiries or reservations or reservation changes. You have to visit their parish office to cover any business with them. Some people find that annoying, I actually think it's the right approach to handle such important business.

- Church Fee: differs between parishioners and non-parishioners; covers use of the Church, air-conditioning system, and red carpet.
